MASEA is proud to host the 2019 "Countdown to Columbus" Conference, at the fabulous The Blackwell Inn located in Columbus, OH.
The Conference will be held June 12-14, 2018 with an optional Student Employment Essential (SEE) training held June 10-11.
As a MASEA member, you will be able to receive the discounted conference rate.
Reservation requests must be made no later than Sunday, May 19, 2019 to receive this rate. If you are requesting a reservation, please contact the hotel directly; toll free 866-247-4003.
The Blackwell offers complimentary airport transportation, and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, please click here for the shuttle schedule. To arrange, you may contact our concierge at (614) 247-4000. Please note, it is on a first come, first serve basis for availability. Valet parking is available for all guests and attendees, overnight rates are $12 and may be applied to your room.

Check out this Sample Conference Request Letter by MASEA. This will help you outline the professional development opportunities to learn and grown, while also demonstrating the value that attending Conference provides not just you as a professional, but your entire university.
In support of member professional development, MASEA will provide one or more conference scholarships for the 2019 conference. This is a great opportunity for administrators to attend several professional development sessions (excluding SEE Training) at the regional conference held in Columbus, Ohio June 12-14, 2019. The scholarship will cover the conference registration fee including: one (1) admission to conference general sessions and workshops, plus all meals noted on the conference schedule (excluding the one night where dinner is on your own).

Conference registration includes: One (1) admission to conference general and breakout sessions, plus all meals noted on the conference schedule.
Payment must be received by May 19, 2019 - Attendance without payment is not feasible.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
The MASEA Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency.
Conference registration canceled on-line on or before May 19, 2019 is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.
Registrants canceling after May 19, 2019 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.
In the event MASEA must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, MASEA will refund the cost of registration. However MASEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses to include, charges made for travel and lodging.
Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:
"Unforeseen Circumstances" is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents MASEA from continuing with a conference or training. Examples of such circumstances can include but are not limited to inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, and presenter absence.
