MASEA is proud to host the 2019 "Countdown to Columbus" Conference, at the fabulous The Blackwell Inn located in Columbus, OH.

The Conference will be held June 12-14, 2018 with an optional Student Employment Essential (SEE) training held June 10-11.
As a MASEA member, you will be able to receive the discounted conference rate.

In the top right corner select BOOK NOW. Choose your dates from the drop down arrow and select BOOK NOW. Then, click the drop down arrow for Special Codes and input: MASEA0609. The group rate will appear and guests can continue following the prompts to book the room.

Reservation requests must be made no later than Sunday, May 19, 2019 to receive this rate. If you are requesting a reservation after this date, please contact the hotel directly for availability; toll free 866-247-4003.

The Blackwell offers complimentary airport transportation, and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, please click here for the shuttle schedule. To arrange, you may contact our concierge at (614) 247-4000. Please note, it is on a first come, first serve basis for availability. Valet parking is available for all guests and attendees, overnight rates are $12 and may be applied to your room.

Call for Presenters

Presenters are essential to the professional development of student employment professionals at every level. We are calling for presenters who want to share their knowledge, share a best practice, or perhaps you want to plan a panel discussion of diverse perspective. Presenting and sharing your knowledge is rewarding and it is an opportunity for you to grow professionally while networking and connecting with other professionals. The deadline to submit a presentation proposal for consideration is Friday, March 29, 2019.

If selected as a conference presenter, you will contribute to the advancement of your profession by helping shape the educational aspect of our members.

* Lunch is provided in the cost of attendance at SEE Training

Conference registration includes: One (1) admission to conference general and breakout sessions, plus all meals noted on the conference schedule.

Payment must be received by May 19, 2019 - Attendance without payment is not feasible.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

The MASEA Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency.

Conference registration canceled on-line on or before May 19, 2019 is refundable but subject to a $50 administrative fee.

Registrants canceling after May 19, 2019 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.

In the event MASEA must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, MASEA will refund the cost of registration. However MASEA does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses to include, charges made for travel and lodging.

Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:

"Unforeseen Circumstances" is used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents MASEA from continuing with a conference or training. Examples of such circumstances can include but are not limited to inclement weather or other natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, and presenter absence.
